The Rectory on Princess Street is accepting bookings for 2024!

The historic Rectory on Princess Street offers outdoor and indoor spaces for elegant weddings, engagements, conferences, meetings, concerts, photoshoots and more. Located in Old Town Alexandria just minutes from King Street, this intimate venue features unique spaces such as a romantic enclosed 18th century English garden and a newly updated glass atrium.

The Rectory was built in 1785 to serve as the rectory of the nearby historic Christ Church, once the church of George Washington. Since then, it has been owned by several distinguished Virginians and has been an office since the 1960’s. The Rectory opened for event rentals in the fall of 2020.

The Rectory on Princess Street offers various event spaces, including the Secret Garden, the atrium, the ballroom, and the conference room.
